The word Reiki (“ray-key") means Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is a simple, hands-on method of healing the mind, body and spirit. Reiki is the art, and science, of activating and applying natural, universal life force energy to promote wholeness and healing. It has no doctrine or creed. Originally developed in Japan it transcends cultural and religious boundaries. Reiki is an all- inclusive healing modality.

Each practitioner develops a unique relationship with the energy itself. The relationship strengthens through use by developing a trust. The more you trust the process and Reiki energy, the greater the results and deeper the level of intimacy.

The Reiki energy is used to enhance, protect and heal our lives on all levels. It can be used in all circumstances of our lives: relationship, finance, health, conflicts and travel for example.

In Level 1 the student receives the initial Reiki attunement which opens the crown chakra and allows the Reiki energy to flow into the practitioner at a level comfortable for them. Level 1 should include a history of Reiki, the Reiki Principles, basic hand positions and an in depth discussion about how to use Reiki in your life daily. Your Master/Teacher will share with you their experience, history and philosophy. When you leave this class you will have the ability to work on yourself and others.

Level II opens the practitioner more fully to the energy. It is here that people often start working on others as a practice. You are given three symbols in this class which aid you in sending the energy long distance – through time and space – to people in other locations or to past situations in your life. As you practice Reiki on others you begin to see in all situations the God spark within them. You truly begin to experience and view humanity at the innermost level of wholeness and light.

Level III is the Master level. At this point your relationship with Reiki will have become a way of life and you will have fully expanded using Reiki confidently in all areas of your life. You will be given the Master symbol during this class. Part B of the Level III is Teacher which allows you to teach this process to others.
